February 23 - New Bootleg Titles

Several new import titles have been announced. In the ElvisOne 'Bootleg Series' the 2-CD-set '70... 72... 73... Fragments | The Rehearsal Tapes', 'Legendary Elvis' and 'Fun In Acapulco - The Alternate Album'. These titles should be out early March 2024.

From the same producers, but on their alternate Paradise Road Records label the CD 'Elvis - 1970 - At The Astrodome'.

Including for the first time all 7 radio spots for "Love Me Tender"!

A special limited edition release from The Bootleg Series: 'Fun In Acapulco - The Alternate Album'. 37 tracks in total, including acetate recordings from 'Mexico', 'Bossa Nova Baby' and 'El Toro' (movie versions), Guadalajara (track overdub), radio spots and demos that were not officially released.

The 9 radio spots were taken from the original 33 1/3 RPM 12-inch LP. This record with nine radio commercials was produced by Paramount to promote 'Fun In Acapulco' and was never available before on CD. Also included are some complete alternate takes including the funny take 3 from 'The Bullfighter Was A Lady'. A very nice compilation and a nice addition to the complete sessions. Including a 12 pages booklet with photos and recording information.

Paradise Road Records presents 'Elvis - 1970 - At The Astrodome' featuring the complete February 28, 1970 (2:00 pm) show, 3 original radio reports, the Houston press conference from February 25, 1970 (including an additional 36 seconds that misses on most releases) plus additional live recordings from the February 27 and March 1 shows. 

These Houston shows were not professionally recorded and we know the sound quality is not great but with this release you'll get the best sounding recordings on one great compilation album. A very nice and affordable audio souvenir CD from these shows!
