October 05 - October FTD Releases and More

The Follow that Dream collectors label announced the October 2022 releases: the 3-CD set 'Las Vegas '71' and a Limited Edition 2-LP re-issue of the 'It Happened at the World's Fair'. 

Details 'Las Vegas '71': Released as a 3-CD 5-inch digi-pak, this set features three 1971concerts recorded at the International Hotel on January 27 / 28 (Midnight shows) and January 29 (Dinner show). Recorded by Bill Porter, The tapes unfortunately have imperfections, but we have prioritized the historic importance and rarity of these recordings.

Note: These three concerts have been out on bootleg since the 90's on releases like 'All Things Are Possible' (January 27 1971 MS), 'Lean, Mean And Kicking Butt' (January 28 1971 MS) and 'Snowbird Revisted' (January 29 1971 DS) and more recently as "Public Domain" releases in Europe by the Memphis Recording Service record label. 

Details 'It Happened at the World's Fair': FTD is pleased to announce the release of 'It Happened at the World's Fair' as a 2-LP Limited Edition. 

Taking inspiration from RCA Victor’s originally planned but subsequently aborted deluxe soundtrack release (LOC/LSO 1080), this 180 Gr. double vinyl soundtrack companion features original soundtrack masters and excellent alternative outtakes. 

Bonus tracks include 'Witchcraft' (takes 3/M), 'Love Me Tonight' (takes 6-8/M) and 'Slowly But Surely' (take 5/M).
